Lembyk FPV Ceramic Lamp is a handmade ceramic night light that unites the deep imagery of Ukrainian folk culture with the modern military reality of Ukraine. Created in our studio in Kyiv, Ukraine, this ceramic lamp reimagines the folkloric image of the Lembyk through a contemporary wartime lens, transforming it into a symbolic object of resistance, courage, and national endurance.

This work stands at the meeting point of traditional Ukrainian cultural forms and the history being shaped today on the battlefield. The image of the Lembyk carries the warmth, symbolism, and expressive spirit of Ukrainian folklore, while the FPV elements speak about the ingenuity and bravery of Ukrainian soldiers, who helped pioneer the battlefield use of FPV drones as a new form of modern weaponry. These technologies changed the dynamics of the front, helped stop the advance of the aggressor, and continue to give hope to the Ukrainian nation every day.

As a ceramic night light, Lembyk FPV functions both as symbolic ceramic art and as atmospheric lighting. Its sculptural form, perforated body, and warm inner glow turn the piece into a meaningful handmade ceramic lamp for collectors, interiors, and those seeking Ukrainian art with purpose.

This piece is also part of a larger mission. It belongs to the line of ceramic works created in support of Ukraine’s defenders, where art becomes a form of contribution, memory, and resilience. By collecting this one-of-a-kind ceramic lamp, you acquire not only a unique folk-inspired ceramic artwork, but also an object shaped by the living reality of modern Ukraine.

Designed for collectors, art lovers, and those seeking unique ceramic lighting, Ukrainian ceramic art, folk-inspired decor, and symbolic handmade gifts, Lembyk FPV Ceramic Lamp is a sculptural reminder that culture and resistance continue to stand together.

      The Story Behind KUST

My name is Viktor Kushchenko, an artist, ceramic sculptor and founder of KUST Ceramics.

My relationship with clay began when I was eight, through a fascination with archaeology. I was amazed that a ceramic fragment could survive for centuries and still preserve someone’s story. Since then, ceramics has never been just a material to me — it is memory, culture and a way of leaving something meaningful behind.

Together with my wife, Lola, I created KUST — an independent ceramic studio in Ukraine. Inspired by the ocean, wildlife and ancient forms, we create objects that exist between sculpture, functional design and storytelling.

Every KUST lamp begins with an original sketch and a model sculpted by hand. The piece is formed in clay, carefully refined, glazed and fired twice. Light openings, textures and patterns are finished individually before the electrical components are assembled and tested.

By day, a KUST lamp is a ceramic sculpture. At night, it transforms, glowing through hand-carved details like stars or deep-sea bioluminescence. Subtle variations in colour, texture and shape make every piece uniquely yours.
